Bring the Supra
to your people.

You bring the people
and the reason to gather.

We can bring the Tamada, or help you put the gathering together.

Tell us about your gathering
A Tamada speaks beside a long table while guests listen during a Supra.

You host.
The Tamada
leads the table.

You open the place, gather the people, and know why they are there.

The Tamada leads the toasts, listens to the room, and gives the feast its order. You can welcome your guests while the Tamada leads the table.

You do not need every detail figured out to begin.

How can we help you host?

A long Supra table is set before guests arrive.

Just a Tamada

Typically $1,750–$2,250

You arrange the gathering. We bring an American Supra Tamada to lead the table and handle their travel.

Bring the Supra where your people already gather.

A dinner at home. A wedding weekend. A parish gathering or a retreat. Supra can become part of an occasion you already have in mind.

“It was easy to get lost in the love and the atmosphere of the experience.”

A few questions.

Do you travel?

Yes. We travel. For a Tamada engagement, your quote includes the Tamada and the travel, lodging, and related logistics needed to get him to your table. Tell us where you are gathering and we will work from there.

Can I host a Supra at my house?

Absolutely. A home is a natural place for a Supra. If you already have the people, food, wine, and table handled, you may only need us to bring the Tamada.

Can I host one at a restaurant or venue?

Yes. We can work with restaurants, private dining rooms, event spaces, and other venues. They do not need to already know how to host a Supra. We can talk with you about what the table needs and help coordinate with the venue.

Do I need Georgian food?

No special menu needs to be figured out before you contact us. The meal should fit the people and the gathering. If you want help planning the food, including Georgian dishes or ideas for the table, we can talk through that with you.

What about the wine?

Wine is traditional and central to the Supra, and we can help you think through what to serve and how much you may need for your table. But no guest is required to drink alcohol. Someone who does not drink can raise a glass of water or another nonalcoholic drink and take part fully in the table.

Who is behind American Supra?

American Supra is a project of First Things Foundation. First Things learned abroad what it means to enter another person’s place as a guest. At home, Supra became one way we practice the other side of that relationship by learning to host. Learn our story.

Why does the table matter so much?

Because a Supra does more than put people in the same room. The Host opens the place. The Tamada gives the feast its order. The toasts bring the whole table back to one shared theme, and people hear stories and memories they might otherwise miss. See what we believe the table can make possible.
